Stephanie Wajda grew up in Norwalk, CT. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the University of Vermont with her Bachelors in May 2011. Stephanie developed a desire to work in Women’s Health, specifically in Maternity and Labor & Delivery, while studying in nursing school. She had seen and experienced how women were pressured into using birth control and taught that it was the answer to many problems, as if there were no other options for family planning or other solutions to issues like acne and so forth. She had always known that she wanted to use Natural Family Planning, and after she became engaged she started charting with the Creighton Model System. After learning about the rich knowledge that the Creighton Model of FertilityCare has to offer women and couples about their fertility and gynecologic health, Stephanie asked herself, “Why don’t all women know this about their bodies? Why didn’t I learn this in Nursing School?” Wanting to share this wonderful knowledge with others, Stephanie enrolled in the Creighton Model educational program through the Marguerite d’Youville FertilityCare Services in Manchester, New Hampshire. Stephanie is very eager to teach women and couples all about the richness and benefits of using the Creighton Model of FertilityCare
. Stephanie is now happily married and seeing clients in the Stratford, Connecticut area.
