Alexandra became a Creighton Model Practitioner after her own struggle with infertility and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). In college, Alexandra was given the birth control pill to regulate her periods and to relieve the symptoms of PCOS and cystic acne. While the pill seemed to help these symptoms, the underlying cause of the problem was ignored; Alexandra later learned that the pill might even worsen PCOS and contribute to any underlying hormonal imbalances a woman might have. When she was married and eager to have children, she was told by her doctor that, because of her PCOS, it could take “years” for her to become pregnant. Alexandra sought the help of a Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner and, after charting her cycles and balancing her hormones with the help of a NaPro Physician, Alexandra conceived her first child within six months of trying.
Now pregnant with her third child, Alexandra has witnessed the miracle of the Creighton Model and NaPro Technology not only in her own life, but in the lives of the couples she has taught over the past five years. She has a special passion for teaching the Creighton Model to women with infertility and hormonal imbalances; she also has extensive knowledge about the use of diet and alternative therapies. A graduate of the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing Creighton Model Program in New Hampshire, Alexandra, who is a native of Colombia, is fluent in Spanish.
Alexandra is available to see a limited number of new clients.
